Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of StagePlot Live ("Service"), provided by Insanely Awesome Productions LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. License to use

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal or business stage-plot creation. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Service's source code, design assets, or proprietary content, nor redistribute the asset library. Assets and exports we deliver may carry a marker tied to your account so we can trace unauthorized redistribution; circumventing or removing it is a breach of these Terms.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the stage plots and project content you create. We process your content solely to operate the Service (storage, sync, export, and sharing per your settings). Exports you create are yours to use, distribute, and print.

You are responsible for the content you add, including any personal data about other people (such as performer or crew names) you enter into projects — you confirm you have the right to include it. If you share a project, you're responsible for who you grant access to. We may remove content or suspend accounts that infringe rights or violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and renewal

Pro is sold as a recurring subscription (monthly or annual) billed in advance. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel from your account at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

The displayed price is in USD and excludes any applicable taxes, which are added at checkout by our merchant of record.

Founding-member pricing. Where offered, a discounted founder rate is time-limited: it applies for 24 months from your first payment, after which your subscription renews at the then-current standard rate for your plan. We will tell you the standard rate at checkout and notify you by email before it first applies; you may cancel before that renewal if you don't wish to continue at the standard rate.

5. Refunds

We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund on first purchases of any Pro plan. Refund requests after 14 days are considered case-by-case. Email [email protected] to request a refund. EU consumers retain their statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Directive in addition to this voluntary policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: violate law, infringe intellectual property, transmit malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data at scale, or impersonate another person or entity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. After termination, your data is retained per the Privacy Policy retention schedule and then deleted.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost data or lost profits.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our practices change. Material changes are notified by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. EU and UK consumers retain mandatory protections under their local consumer-protection law regardless of this clause.
